Lock my Drive 2.0. edition with enhanced data security is released
Lock my Drive is a portable software intended to secure files and folders from unwanted intrusions on a variety of devices. It is compatible with Windows XP, Vista, 7, X32 and X64 bit OSs ; supports FAT and NTFS file systems and can be used on hard drives of desktop PCs
SoftVit LLC announced the release of Lock my Drive 2.0. software edition with enhanced functionality and improved PC data security. Lock my Drive is a portable security software that can be used for private data protection on a variety of devices such as desktop PCs, laptops, netbooks, external hard drives, USB Flash drives and memory cards. As compared to the previous editions, the software was enhanced with new valuable features.
The software is currently represented in the two versions – Lock my Drive Instant (light) that can hide folders and files and Lock my Drive Strong (professional, enhanced) that can encrypt external hard drive, internal hard drive or USB Flash drive. The new editions, Lock my Drive Instant 2.0. and Lock my Drive Strong 2.0. are improved with the locking function. A user can now lock folder, files or the whole device making it inaccessible to others.
The second added feature that is available in the Lock my Drive 2.0. is online file storage. Each software user is provided with 2 Gb of free file storage for 6 months with an option to select one of the paid premium membership plans for 50 Gb, 100 Gb, 250 Gb, 500 Gb or 1 Tb of storage space. File storage can be used to back up the most valuable files and keep them safe and protected from being lost in the result of many situations such as virus attacks, unexpected hard drive crash, device formatting, loss or stealing.
